Io non l'ho fatto. Ma naufragando per la rete ho trovato un'articolo interessante.
Poco fa, Dave Walker si recò a Londra presentare il nuovo Brand di Ubuntu, dopodiché scrisse un'articolo su Linux User & Development nel quale sono venuto a conoscenza che per sviluppare il nuovo design hanno usato dei Mac.

"Interestingly, it would seem that many of the artists that created this new design were using Apple Macs and proprietary software as their developing platform.  I’m a big believer in using the best tool for a job which leads to an important question. Is it that Ubuntu is lacking as an art and design platform and is not up to the task or is it, there aren’t any pedigree artists that are well skilled in using the Ubuntu desktop."

Io sono un ferreo sostenitore dell'idea che bisogna usare il miglior strumento disponibile per il lavoro che uno fa, per cui questo ci porta a una domanda importante. È perché Ubuntu fallisce come piattaforma di desing e arte, e dunque non è all'altezza del compito richiesto? Oppure è perché non c'erano artisti, professionisti, sufficientemente abili ad usare un desktop Ubuntu?"

Non saprei come pronunciarmi. Comunque sia, è un peccato.
